about

I. Desert Of the Mind

Making way through the lands, sharp sands hurtling atop the sharp dunes, trudging through the desolate towns of times once passed, taken away by the time stones.
All that lives here is snakes and reptiles, there was once a bustling civilisation with hope for the future but that soon ended when they realised maintaining it armed with nothing, but hope was not the best of ideas.
Finding sustenance in the desert of the mind was not going to be the easiest feat, and it was known – but the trudge must go on.
Much like land, climates do pass much like everything put in place by man, the time stones teach them these philosophies, as did the passing of ancient civilisations.
The sun starts to set, just as morale had almost dissolved upon the lands, yet the hope for rainfall and cooler temperatures keeps it.
Thunder starts to emerge from underground echoing and flashing through the cracks in the drought laden floor, a great rain after a drought of many years makes itself seen once again, and whatever life is left rejoices.

Something is sighted across the horizon…

lyrics

(Verse 1)
I feel the thunder start underground
There’s nothing left for me on this rock anymore
Don’t run away before you’ve even stayed
Contradictory mess she spent it all on the sky
(Chorus)
Here we are, on the outside looking in
Nothing matters anymore
…And here we are, standing among the mess
Hoping for rainfall once again
(Verse 2)
Take it all away, run it off the road for I don’t want anymore
Every stare,
Every repair,
It’s killing me
(Chorus x1)
(Outro)
Whoa what does it matter anymore?
Here we are, living in the mess
Whoa what does it matter anymore?
We’re trying to get the messages across
